Tony Romo's powerful speech to Cowboys night before victory gave Dez Bryant chills

The night before Tony Romo made his return from a broken left collarbone, the Cowboys quarterback stood up in front of the team and provided a moving message.

Romo mentioned the speech during his post game press conference, but declined to give many details. The one part he did reveal was how the team inspired him despite losing seven consecutive games.

"Our football team never let up," Romo said. "The tough part is when that doesn't produce results because then it gets tougher each time. The fact that they have committed to this and just getting better, and then let the results happen later, has just been a great thing to see."

Wide receiver Terrance Williams said Romo delivered "powerful words" about how the entire team needed to be on the same page.

"Outstanding," Dez Bryant said. "Felt it. I got chills. I'll tell you that. He talks to us, but that was kind of different. I think he already got all our respect. I think he just made all of us play a little bit different and be more focused with everything because he was basically telling us, you know, he needs us and we have to be there for him.

"I think we did that. We tried our best and we can only get better from here."
